The iRIS Fast Track system is real-time, online software that tracks and manages freight car repair data in the AAR standard format. It automatically handles time-consuming and labor-intensive tasks such as estimate auditing, required form generation and data reporting; all without the risk of human error or miscalculation.

iRIS Fast Track gives repair shops the ability to create error-free estimates with an easy and intuitive graphical interface. This is done with no special software or customer upgrading required; and all data is secure.

 

Estimate Creation

  • Shops can dynamically create, edit and audit error-free repair estimates.
  • Fast Track does not allow for estimates with errors or without proper inspections to be processed.
  • AAR compliant using standard 160 character record layout (will conform to newly proposed 500 character format when initialized). The Quarterly AAR Pricemaster is updated automatically while last seven quarters remain active in system.
  • All necessary forms are automatically generated: NIT League codes, Tank Car forms, Electronic Defect Card / Joint Inspection Certificate, etc.
  • Shops can create "Super Codes" for repairs and inspections that are repetitive.
  • Car owners can also create "Alerts" for cars/series for mechanical and warranty issues or specific cars that require custom inspections, industry mandated mechanical issues or component warranty issues.

Estimate Auditing

  • Auditing System automatically processes all lines of an estimate for any inaccuracies or missing requirements and displays them to shop technician for fixing.
  • All errors are displayed and the repair info is easily editable.
