The iRIS Shop Track system is real-time, online software that tracks and manages freight car repair data in the AAR standard format. It automatically handles time-consuming and labor-intensive tasks such as estimate creation and auditing, and required form generation; all without the risk of human error or miscalculation
iRIS Shop Track gives repair shops the ability to create error-free estimates with an easy and intuitive graphical interface. This is done with no special software or customer upgrading required; and all data is secure.
Estimate Creation
- Shops can dynamically create, and audit error-free repair estimates before creating invoices.
- Shop Track does not allow for estimates with errors or without proper inspections to be processed.
- AAR compliant using standard 160 character record layout (will conform to newly proposed 500 character format when initialized). The Quarterly AAR Pricemaster is updated automatically while last seven quarters remain active in system.
- All necessary forms are automatically generated: NIT League codes, Tank Car forms, Electronic Defect Card / Joint Inspection Certificate, etc.
- Shops can create "SuperCodes" for repairs and inspections that are repetitive.

Estimate Auditing
- Auditing System automatically processes all lines of an estimate for any inaccuracies or missing requirements and displays them to shop technician for fixing.
- All errors are displayed and repair data is ready for editing.
- Invoices are automatically generated and are in printable format.
