Online Repair Management, Billing and Auditing System for Private Car Owners

The iRIS system is real-time, online software that tracks and manages freight car repair data for an entire fleet. It automatically handles time-consuming and labor-intensive tasks such as estimate creation and auditing, rebilling, depreciated value calculation, bad order management, required form generation and data reporting; all without the risk of human error or miscalculation.

iRIS gives repair shops the ability to create error-free estimates for the Car Owner's approval with an easy and intuitive graphical interface. It gives the car owner the ability to monitor shops' activities and performance. All of this is done with no special software or customer upgrading required; and all data is secure and backed-up on a daily basis.

Estimate Creation and Approval
Shops can dynamically create, edit and audit error-free repair estimates before sending them to the car owner. Car owners can either approve of or reject repair estimates from repair shop, and return comments accordingly.
iRIS does not allow for estimates with errors or without proper inspections to be sent to the car owner.
AAR compliant using standard 160 character record layout (will conform to newly proposed 500 character format when initialized). The Quarterly AAR Pricemaster is updated automatically while last seven quarters remain active in system for re-billing and reporting.
All necessary forms are automatically generated: NIT League codes, Tank Car forms, Electronic Defect Card / Joint Inspection Certificate, etc.
Shops can create "Super Codes" for repairs and inspections that are repetitive.
Car owners and shops can communicate about specific repair estimates via emails, comments and photos attached to specific repairs.
Car owners can also create "Alerts" for cars/series for mechanical and warranty issues or specific cars that require custom inspections, industry mandated mechanical issues or component warranty issues.
Manage multiple shops: iRIS provides flexibility for multiple shops and material rates.

Estimate Auditing
Auditing System automatically processes all lines of an estimate for any inaccuracies or missing requirements and displays them to shop technician for fixing before transmission to the car owner.
For the car owner, all errors are displayed and ready for exception-taking process. And the Exception letters and associated BRCs are generated in easily printable AAR format.
Invoices are automatically generated for the shops and car owners and are in printable format.
The CBA management module saves labor, time and money.

Re-billing
The iRIS rebilling system gives you complete control over rebilling your repair data to the responsible sources.

By creating rebilling customer profiles once, iRIS will automatically re-bill all specified components by your specified parameters.
